week 7 day 3

in todays lesson I am writing my proposal start and I have been doing my mind map in the morning. I have choose my theme which is mechanical science but link to human society. the first idea that come up to my mind is body attitude. My thought is about because now times they are a lot of people who lost their legs or arms but still need them to work and in life, and also the problem that young people always have in now days is spondylodynia, the problem on the spinal column. That is happening while the sitting problem and incorrect life style.

It happen because people looking at phone and computer for so long, for further it will be more and more times. Im not thinking about letting people be away of phone and computer, I'm thinking of some protection and support for the body part to make people fell better.

At first I'm strangle for my theme because I don't know what to do, it pretty free project to let us go. So I search for some key work like sustainability and eco-friendly, and I find my idea in the section call wasteland, it like a concern for future human and the planet, lots of movie use it for reference like Dune; Part 1 (2021). And I have research for the word wasteland to get more ideas, and some artist visual work and graphic art work have give me another key word which is mechanical transform, I think it is a very interesting ideas and it link to my first thought about the ill person who have amputate and spinal column problem.

I will research on more article and books tomorrow in King Cross library. looking for books like Cyber art, mechanical art even future designs idea for home and furniture. and I will start doing some collage for my first ideas using secondary image.
